More Than a Record Store

The Audio Junkie started in 2025 as a way to get rid of some extra records but turned into a chase to find the best collections in music media, gear, and collectibles. Today we’re a full vintage music booth at the State Street Market Shops in Elgin, IL, packed with vinyl, CDs, cassettes, memorabilia, and the restored gear to play all of it.

We’re collectors first. Every record gets inspected, and every piece of hardware gets tested and verified before it ever reaches the shelf — so what you carry home actually works. No mystery-grade bins, no “sold as-is” surprises.

Whether you’re chasing a first pressing, rebuilding a system, or just flipping through crates on a Saturday, there’s something here for every kind of collector.
